About Alehouse
Based in San Francisco, Alehouse Press is an independent literary press founded in 2006. Each year, Alehouse Press publishes Alehouse, an all-poetry literary journal featuring a mix of poetry, essays on poetry, and poetry reviews from emerging and established writers. Alehouse also publishes the grand-prize winner, the four runners-up, and many other entries from our annual Happy Hour Poetry Awards Contest. Down the road, Alehouse Press hopes to publish thematic anthologies, chap- books and full-length poetry collections, plus other books of interest to poets.
